As a Qualcomm GPU Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting, designing, implementing, verifying, and optimizing the performance and power of GPU cores. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer needs and ensure high-quality functionality. This role requires advanced knowledge of GPU technology and the ability to lead technical projects. You will also develop critical driver and compiler software to support GPU products.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 5+ years, or a PhD with 4+ years.
- Master's degree or PhD in a related field is preferred.
- 2+ years of relevant GPU experience is preferred.
- 2+ years of experience interacting with senior leadership is preferred.
- 1+ year in a technical leadership role with direct reports is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Leverage advanced GPU knowledge to architect, design, implement, verify, and optimize GPU cores.
- Build functional model simulations and develop software to verify correctness and performance.
- Design and run complex graphics tests to ensure functionality, performance, and stability.
- Facilitate collaboration with third-party vendors and across organizations to guide implementation.
- Develop critical driver and compiler software to support GPU products.
- Write detailed technical documentation for complex GPU projects and review documentation for junior engineers.
