Job description

As a Qualcomm GPU Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting, designing, implementing, verifying, and optimizing the performance and power of GPU cores. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer needs and ensure alignment with project goals. This role requires advanced knowledge of GPU technology and the ability to develop critical driver and compiler software. You will also be expected to write detailed technical documentation for complex GPU projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 3+ years, or a PhD with 2+ years.
  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field is preferred.
  • 2+ years of relevant GPU experience is preferred.
  • 1+ year of experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership is preferred.
  • 1+ year in a technical leadership role with direct reports is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage advanced GPU knowledge to architect, design, implement, verify, and optimize GPU cores.
  • Build functional model simulations and develop software to verify correctness and performance.
  • Design and run comprehensive graphics tests to verify functionality, performance, power, and stability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external users to guide implementation.
  • Develop critical driver and compiler software to support GPU products.
  • Write detailed technical documentation for complex GPU projects.
