Job description
The role at Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. focuses on hardware engineering for mid-high power ASIC products. Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field with 8+ years of Hardware Engineering experience.
- 2+ years of experience with hardware design and measurement instruments such as oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.
- 1+ years in a technical leadership role.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field with 6+ years of Hardware Engineering experience.
- PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field with 4+ years of Hardware Engineering experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop complex features and components of hardware designs in line with proposals or roadmaps.
- Advise less experienced engineers on common testing and design tasks.
- Apply advanced design rules and processes for electronic hardware independently.
- Identify advanced ways to optimize tests and hardware designs by evaluating device performance.
- Evaluate complex design features to identify potential flaws and compliance issues.
- Document complex details about materials, components, and functionality for devices.
- Troubleshoot advanced issues with product designs and find documented solutions.
- Act as a tech lead on mid-sized to large projects and manage project-related activities.
- Conduct specialized analyses and provide guidance to junior engineers.
