As a Qualcomm CPU Engineer, you will lead innovative CPU design efforts that significantly impact various industries. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, verify, and implement multi-core CPU operations. You will focus on performance verification for custom CPUs used in mobile and portable computers. This position requires a strong understanding of CPU architecture and the ability to troubleshoot and validate new features.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of relevant work experience, or a Master's degree with 1+ year of experience, or a PhD in a related field.
- Proficiency in one or more areas of CPU architecture such as fetch, decode, and branch prediction.
- Experience working in an RTL simulation environment.
- Proficient in Verilog, C, C++, and scripting languages such as Perl or Python.
Responsibilities
- Verify performance features between RTL and model and troubleshoot issues.
- Work with design and performance teams to develop test cases and validate new features.
- Lead innovative CPU design efforts that impact industries globally.
