Job description
The role at Qualcomm involves contributing to the development of next-generation graphics processing units (GPUs) and compute devices. The Qualcomm Graphics System Team focuses on enhancing performance and power efficiency for various workloads. The position requires a strong understanding of GPU and system-on-chip (SoC) architecture, as well as a solid programming background. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 4+ years of relevant experience in Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, or Systems Engineering.
- Understanding of GPU and/or SoC architecture and common SoC hardware blocks.
- Strong knowledge of Python or similar programming languages.
- Fluency in using the latest AI tools for coding and debugging.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to performance and power efficiency analysis at the GPU and system level.
- Work closely with the modeling team to establish scalable methodologies for power projections.
- Engage in competitive performance and power analysis for popular benchmarks and games.
- Develop tools for efficient and scalable debug and validation tasks.
- Participate in next-generation model improvement by providing post-silicon learning.
