Job description

The GPU System Driver Team at Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking talented software engineers to develop in-house GPU drivers for verifying GPU function and performance. This role involves working closely with architects and various teams throughout the development life cycle of graphics processors. Engineers will develop Vulkan/D3D12 drivers for prototyping and exploration of next-generation GPUs. A deep understanding of Qualcomm Adreno hardware architecture and graphics APIs is essential for success in this position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or a Master's degree or PhD in the same fields.
  • 1+ years of C/C++ programming experience.
  • GPU programming experience with OpenGL, Vulkan, D3D11, D3D12, GLSL, or HLSL.
  • 6+ years of Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, or related work experience for minimum qualifications.

Responsibilities

  • Develop in-house GPU drivers to verify GPU function and performance.
  • Collaborate with architects, system, hardware, verification, and silicon teams.
  • Cultivate a deep understanding of Qualcomm Adreno hardware architecture.
  • Provide solutions to validate next-generation Adreno effectively.
