Job description

Qualcomm is seeking ASIC engineers to join a fast-paced SoC team focused on RTL Design and methodology for high-performance ASICs. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and technical skills, with experience in ASIC and/or FPGA design. This role involves working on innovative projects in the Server and Data Center markets, contributing to the design and architecture of new technologies. Candidates should be team players with excellent communication skills, ready to tackle challenges in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of ASIC design experience, or a Master's degree with 3+ years, or a PhD with 2+ years.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in ASIC design, scripting, and architecture.
  • Proven knowledge in Server/Data Center IPs, protocols, and interfaces.
  • Experience in designing arithmetic/computational/machine learning IPs.

Responsibilities

  • Use tools/applications to execute the architecture and design of SoC according to design protocols.
  • Resolve architecture, design, or verification problems by applying sound ASIC engineering practices.
  • Execute design and verification strategies according to ASICs, SoC, and IP cores specifications.
  • Participate and actively contribute to design and architecture reviews.
  • Identify areas for flow and process improvements through design techniques and automation.
  • Communicate effectively within the team and with peer teams, demonstrating good presentation skills.
  • Collaborate and share knowledge with team members to achieve common goals.
