Job description

The role at Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. focuses on low power design verification within the GPU ASICS Engineering team. The team is responsible for delivering advanced hardware and software products that enhance user experience in mobile devices. The position requires collaboration with architecture and design teams to develop verification plans and components. The ideal candidate will engage in power aware verification and support system-level RTL simulation and design verification.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of relevant work experience, or a Master's degree with 1+ year of experience, or a PhD in a related field.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in System Verilog and OVM/UVM based constrained random verification.
  • 2+ years in design validation or post-silicon debug.
  • 2+ years of experience in developing verification components or UVCs for RTL verification.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the architecture and design team to understand low power design features and create verification plans.
  • Develop test plan documents for design features and review them with the design team.
  • Create verification components and testbenches for low power verification and integrate third party VIPs/UVCs as required.
  • Perform power aware verification in a random verification environment with embedded firmware running on the design.
  • Support SoC DV for integration verification, chip bring up, and post-silicon debug.
