Job description

As a Qualcomm Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and validate embedded and cloud edge software for automotive products. You will collaborate with various teams to define automotive-specific features, focusing on security, safety, and power management. The role requires coordination and execution of validation plans while addressing any issues that arise. Additionally, you will automate design under test and work closely with hardware teams to suggest modifications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 8+ years of Software Engineering experience, or a Master's degree with 7+ years, or a PhD with 6+ years.
  • 4+ years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
  • Working experience on AUTOSAR and understanding of AUTOSAR Architecture including MCAL and Complex drivers.
  • Experience with SafeRTOS, Zephyr, and FreeRTOS.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive safety, ASIL standards, and FFI.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop embedded and cloud edge software for automotive products.
  • Collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, and test engineers to create system-level software solutions.
  • Coordinate and execute validation plans for automotive features.
  • Identify and address abnormal discoveries by providing corrective actions.
