As a Software Virtual Platform Engineer at Qualcomm, you will focus on developing high-level system virtual models of complex SoC hardware using SystemC TLM and QEMU. This role involves close collaboration with hardware designers and software engineers to translate system requirements into detailed models. You will leverage your extensive experience in C++ programming to ensure efficient model development. The position is open to candidates in Santa Clara, Austin, San Diego, or remote.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 6+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience, or a Master's degree with 5+ years, or a PhD with 4+ years.
• 3+ years of work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.

• Design and develop SystemC TLM models to accurately represent SoC architectures.
• Integrate components such as processors, interconnects, peripherals, and custom IP blocks into the SystemC simulator.
• Collaborate closely with hardware designers, software engineers, and other stakeholders to understand system requirements.
• Perform code reviews and regression tests, as well as triage and fix issues to ensure the quality of code.
• Lead design, coding, and testing efforts to ensure that projects are completed to specifications and schedules.
