Job description
This role at Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. focuses on the physical implementation of advanced integrated graphics core designs, emphasizing high-frequency and complex blocks. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
- 17+ years of direct synthesis and physical design work experience.
- Experience with physical synthesis and implementation tools such as Synopsys Fusion Compiler, ICC2, and Cadence Genus/Innovus.
- Strong understanding of CMOS stdcell and memory circuits.
- Proficiency in reading and understanding RTL (Verilog/System Verilog).
Responsibilities
- Implement physical design including floor-planning, placement, clock implementation, and routing for complex designs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and tool vendors to improve design flows and methodologies.
- Drive innovative solutions for design optimization to meet stringent PPA targets.
- Conduct static timing analysis, reliability, and power analysis.
- Lead and resolve complex technical challenges in collaboration with diverse teams.
