Qualcomm is seeking experienced engineers to join its Cloud System Hardware and Validation Engineering team, which focuses on developing advanced AI inference solutions for liquid-cooled data centers. The role involves designing and developing motherboards and add-in cards for Qualcomm's new AI System On Chip and System In Package. Engineers will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project execution from concept to production. This position emphasizes rack-level design and integration, requiring expertise in hardware architecture and validation.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 5+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
• PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
• 10+ years of hardware engineering or systems development experience.

• Design and develop motherboards, add-in cards, and modules for Qualcomm's AI System On Chip.
• Lead schematics design, PCB layouts, design reviews, and component selections.
• Collaborate with internal teams and ODMs to support customer-specific hardware requirements.
• Support architecture and card designs, including accelerator SoCs and power delivery.
• Assist in the bring-up and debugging of hardware systems and configurations.
• Provide technical oversight of manufacturing processes to ensure quality.
• Coordinate across multiple development sites and deliver technical training for ODMs.
