The Technology System Test Engineer at Qualcomm is responsible for testing and validating location technology systems that integrate software and hardware components. This role focuses on GNSS positioning, WWAN-based location, WLAN-based positioning, and sensor-based positioning. The engineer will design and execute system-level test plans and collaborate with various teams to resolve issues. The position requires a foundational understanding of end-to-end location systems and involves both lab and field testing.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Execute system-level testing for various location technologies including GNSS and assisted GNSS.
• Design and execute test plans validating functional behavior and stability of sensor-assisted location outputs.
• Collect and analyze logs, traces, and sensor data to identify system-level issues impacting location accuracy.
• Perform log and trace analysis to isolate root causes of positioning failures.
• Communicate location system issues and results clearly to software and systems teams.
• Develop and maintain functional and system tests ensuring correct behavior of multi-technology location features.
