As a Qualcomm Video Engineer, you will work on innovative video systems and hardware architecture that enhance daily life through advanced video and computer vision technologies. • Bachelor's degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 3+ years, or a PhD with 2+ years.
• 4+ years of applicable video hardware and/or systems experience.
• 4+ years of experience with hardware system design, system integration, schematic capture, and circuit simulation software.
• 4+ years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, or Python.
• 3+ years of experience working in a large matrixed organization.
• 1+ year of experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership.
• 1+ year in a technical leadership role.

• Leverage advanced Video and Computer Vision Engineering knowledge to research and develop critical video codec and computer vision hardware.
• Design, develop, implement, and verify complex video systems and hardware and firmware tasks.
• Perform complex architecture, standard study, algorithm, and feature decomposition to drive requirements for hardware development.
• Ensure advanced KPIs, systems performance, and area and power metrics are met.
• Drive triage of complex problems to determine root causes and address issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to analyze product requirements for new architecture and modifications.
• Lead the design of video systems and develop complex features and components in line with proposals or roadmaps.
• Write detailed technical documentation and feature descriptions for complex projects.
