As a Software Engineer at Qualcomm, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and validating embedded and cloud edge software for next-generation products. The role involves collaboration with various engineering teams to ensure system-level software solutions meet performance requirements. You will also create and maintain automated test suites to verify the quality and compliance of Qualcomm products. This position emphasizes continuous integration and deployment to achieve production-level software readiness.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience, or a Master's degree with 1+ year of experience, or a PhD.
- 2+ years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
Responsibilities
- Create software and firmware test plans addressing requirements traceability and test coverage.
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated software and firmware test suites.
- Manually test the customer experience of installation and deployment of Qualcomm hardware and software.
- Assist in creating a Quality Engineering and Release engineering process with a focus on continuous integration and deployment.
- Ensure existing Operating Systems and customer usage environments run efficiently while identifying opportunities for enhancements.
