The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure the quality and stability of CPU platform firmware for Snapdragon SoC. The successful candidate will manage resource allocation, streamline support pipelines, and implement risk management practices while fostering a culture of innovation and quality. This position requires both technical expertise and leadership skills to drive improvements in firmware release cadence and overall customer satisfaction.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 8+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience, or a Master's degree with 7+ years, or a PhD with 6+ years.
• 4+ years of work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
• 3+ years in a technical leadership role with or without direct reports.
• 1+ year of work experience with Git, Perforce, or a Source Code Management System.

• Build, manage, and scale a global firmware verification and validation organization.
• Define and refine automation strategies to optimize the CI/CD cycle.
• Streamline and manage the support pipeline to ensure faster response to issues.
• Improve firmware release cadence and ensure quality standards through robust testing.
• Implement risk management practices to ensure stability and reliability of production software.
• Act as a key quality interface between production software organizations and customer engineering teams.
• Provide career development opportunities and coaching for a global workforce.
• Contribute to firmware architecture and design with a focus on integration and Design For Test.
