The CPU Power Management FW Developer at Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is responsible for enabling power management solutions for custom CPUs. This role involves collaboration with hardware and firmware development teams to define and implement embedded firmware for CPU subsystems. The developer will also engage with third parties and contribute to future designs of SoCs and platforms. The position requires a strong background in software engineering and embedded systems.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 6+ years of Software Engineering experience, or a Master's degree with 5+ years, or a PhD with 4+ years.
• 3+ years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
• Experience in embedded firmware development.
• Proficient in writing and debugging C and assembly.

• Drive firmware design, implementation, and verification in pre-silicon and post-silicon environments.
• Assist in the definition of power management solutions for future generations of Qualcomm CPUs.
• Engage with open-source communities to support processor architectures and firmware features.
• Collaborate with other teams on platform bring-up, debug, diagnostics, and firmware lifecycle activities.
