The leader will ensure that advanced hardware products meet the highest quality standards while adapting to a rapidly evolving environment. This position requires a strong focus on quality systems, team development, and cross-functional collaboration.

- 5+ years in a leadership role, with demonstrated experience hiring, scaling, and managing quality engineering teams.
- Deep expertise in APQP/PPAP processes, DFMEA/PFMEA facilitation, and core quality tools.
- Experience managing a metrology lab or dimensional inspection function.
Responsibilities
- Build the Quality Management System (QMS) from the ground up and define quality policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain quality control plans for all processes from pilot line development to high-volume operations.
- Lead the Supplier Quality Engineering function and ensure suppliers meet quality requirements before production.
- Own and operate the metrology lab, managing precision measurement capabilities and calibration programs.
- Drive rigorous root cause analysis for internal defects and supplier quality issues.
Benefits
- Employees at Amazon are often offered comprehensive health benefits—including multiple medical plan options (no pre-existing condition exclusions, 100% covered in-network preventive care), dental and vision plans, a 24/7 medical advice line from day one, expert second-opinion services, and broad mental-health support with several free counseling sessions (including pediatric). Financial wellness typically includes a 401(k) with company match (up to 2%), Restricted Stock Units (equity), FSAs, an emergency savings program, product and partner discounts, and even college-savings and home-purchase programs. Overall, the package is designed to support employees and their families’ health, finances, and day-to-day life.
