Job description

Apple is seeking a Module Process Engineer to join the Panel Process and Optics Engineering team, focusing on innovative manufacturing process technologies for Apple Displays and Touch technology. This role involves developing advanced key process modules from concept to product engineering validation builds. The team operates in a fast-paced environment, requiring self-motivation and flexibility in problem-solving. Successful candidates will tackle complex design challenges that impact product quality and delivery.

Requirements

  • B.S. Degree minimum in Mechanical Engineering or Materials Science or related field.
  • 10 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Experience in leading a project from early development to high volume production.
  • Experience in the development of module processes and integration in back-end processes of the Flat Panel Display and Touch industry.
  • Experience in DOE, data analysis, or SPC control.
  • Experience in failure mode analysis, root cause investigation, and problem solving for product yield and quality issues.
  • Ph.D. or M.S. degree in Physics, Material Science, or Mechanical Engineering in a related field preferred.
  • Excellent data handling, documentation, critical milestone creation, and organization skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability.
  • Ability for international business travel to support project implementation.
