Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and over 10 years of industry experience
- Proficiency in Perl, Python, and TCL scripting from industry usage
- Experience with CPU architecture and implementation
- Broad knowledge of micro-architecture and physical implementation
- Familiarity with CMOS circuit design and analysis
Responsibilities
- Analyze and estimate the power impact of implementing new micro-architectural features
- Generate power rollups and projected estimates from initial to mature net lists throughout the project lifecycle
- Analyze power contributions to identify opportunities for recovery in physical implementation and RTL
- Create power projections considering the expected cost of convergence and implementation, and refine the process
