As an Amazon Critical Infrastructure Engineer, you will provide full life-cycle support to AWS Data Centers, ensuring their design, operation, and maintenance meet high standards. You will collaborate with diverse teams to troubleshoot issues, develop innovative solutions, and lead engineering audits. This role emphasizes both office and field work, allowing you to engage directly with data center operations. You will play a key role in enhancing capacity, efficiency, and sustainability across AWS's global infrastructure.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in industrial, municipal, or commercial engineering, particularly in data centers or power generation
• Valid US driver's license and reliable personal transportation
• Experience as a resident engineer or hands-on design consultant
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment related to data centers
• Possess data analytics skills and comfort with working in large datasets

• Troubleshoot site and equipment failures and conduct Root Cause Analysis.
• Support operational issues with training and complex procedure reviews.
• Own the conceptual design for data center upgrades and solutions.
• Interface with various internal teams to promote service consistency.
• Develop innovative solutions for AWS data centers.
• Initiate and lead engineering audits, producing reports with risk assessments.
• Act as a resident engineer during new construction projects.
