Apple's Silicon Engineering Group is seeking a dedicated CPU Technology Feasibility Implementation Engineer to focus on technology evaluation during the early design phase. This role involves conducting experiments and analyses on process technology in CPU physical design to maximize performance, power, and area benefits. The ideal candidate will work closely with multi-functional engineering teams to address technology-related challenges and improve overall PPA. This position requires a deep understanding of CPU microarchitecture and process technology.

• Minimum BS degree and 10+ years of relevant industry experience
• Experience with synthesis, place-and-route, and clock flow
• Proven expertise in PPA optimizations
• Implementation experience on high-performance CPU designs
• Deep understanding of process technology and its evaluation
• Knowledge of power, performance, and area tradeoffs
• Understanding of static timing and critical path closure techniques

• Understand new process technology and PPA trends
• Drive RTL-to-GDS flow through synthesis and place-and-route for technology evaluation experiments
• Analyze PD results and identify areas for improvements to maximize PPA benefits
• Work with multi-functional engineering teams to resolve technology-related issues
• Perform and analyze various PD experiments with new process technology to achieve high targets for performance, power, and area
