The Systems Development Engineer will join the Fleet Automation Software Team within AWS Infrastructure Services, focusing on designing, developing, and maintaining systems and operational infrastructure for hardware and firmware delivery to AWS data centers globally. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to solve technical challenges and drive system designs. The engineer will contribute to the development and scaling of deployment orchestration systems, ensuring seamless delivery of software and firmware. • 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 1+ years of experience designing or architecting systems for reliability and scaling
• 7+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, and operating systems
• Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals including networking, storage, and operating systems
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, or Ruby
• Experience with PowerShell, Python, Ruby, or Java
• Experience working in an Agile environment using the Scrum methodology
• Knowledge of server hardware and components
