The Front-End RTL Infrastructure - CAD Engineer will be part of the Silicon Technologies group, focusing on developing and supporting reliable infrastructure for design and verification teams. This role involves managing RTL gatekeeping infrastructure and contributing to version control systems. The engineer will drive innovation by integrating generative AI solutions to enhance engineering productivity. Additionally, the position emphasizes maintaining high-quality infrastructure that supports Apple's chip design efforts.

• Minimum of a BS degree with 3 years of relevant experience
• Expertise in programming in Python or Perl
• Knowledge in Verilog and SystemVerilog
• Experience with Front-End EDA tools such as Clock Domain Crossing, Reset Domain Crossing, or Lint
• Understanding of Front-End RTL Build or Construction flows
• Excellent communication, debugging, and root cause analysis skills
• Customer-oriented mindset and support experience
• Experience in contributing to large-scale software system development from specification to deployment
• MSEE/CE/CS preferred

• Develop and support a reliable infrastructure for design and verification teams
• Manage RTL gatekeeping infrastructure and soft IP development methodologies
• Contribute to Perforce administration to ensure version control integrity and performance
• Maintain a centralized configuration management system for Front-End flows
• Drive innovation by building generative AI solutions across systems
• Manage and update internal training materials and coordinate vendor trainings for engineers
• Promote and drive robust, scalable infrastructure solutions across RTL Design and DV teams
