Job description
NVIDIA is seeking a highly motivated embedded software engineer to join the GPU Software team. The role involves designing key aspects of the RISCV BSP package used across the GPU. The engineer will work in a complex environment, collaborating with hardware and software engineers to develop features for next-gen RISCV controllers. This position offers opportunities for global collaboration and involvement in the development process from modeling to customer delivery.
Requirements
- BS or MS degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related degree or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of meaningful software development experience, especially with embedded systems
- Hands-on technical background with excellent C programming and embedded device driver development experience
- Familiarity with computer system architecture, microprocessor, and microcontroller fundamentals
Responsibilities
- Define, design, develop and verify features for next-gen RISCV controllers on our GPU
- Collaborate with hardware engineers and fellow software engineers throughout the development process
- Follow the devices through the development process to customer desktops, notebooks, workstations, and gaming consoles
- Engage in early modeling and simulation required to produce world-class products
