Job description
The Principal Architect for Google Cloud will lead cross-functional teams to help customers design, plan, implement, and govern enterprise cloud strategies. This role requires deep expertise in cloud computing and the ability to engage with technical stakeholders and executive leaders. The team focuses on transforming businesses through technology built in the cloud, ensuring security, reliability, and scalability. The architect will also play a key role in articulating the value of Google Cloud solutions to customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience as an enterprise architect or equivalent experience in a customer-facing role.
- Experience in cloud market insights and cloud computing across applications, infrastructure, storage, platforms, or data.
- Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
Responsibilities
- Build a trusted advisory relationship with strategic accounts and engage with architects, Vice President Engineering, Chief Technical Officer (CTO), and Chief Information Officer (CIO).
- Provide domain expertise around public cloud and enterprise technology, and effectively promote Google Cloud with customers.
- Make recommendations on integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure required to successfully implement a complete solution.
- Manage the holistic enterprise architecture relationship with customers by collaborating with specialists, product management, technical teams, and more.
- Travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events as required.
