Job description
The Staff Software Systems Architect role at Google focuses on developing custom silicon solutions for Google's direct-to-consumer products. As part of the Silicon System Architecture team, you will leverage your expertise to enable software/hardware co-design of System-on-a-Chips (SoCs). This position involves collaborating with various teams to innovate and enhance product performance and efficiency. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience with Mobile/Embedded SoCs.
- 8 years of experience with system architecture.
- Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science is preferred.
- Experience with processor core architectures such as ARM, x86, and RISC-V.
Responsibilities
- Influence hardware decisions through thorough analysis of system and first-party software.
- Collaborate closely with Google Research, Pixel, and Software teams to deliver product differentiating experiences.
- Architect solutions that meet power, performance, and area goals.
