In this role, you will collaborate with a global team of technologists, designers, and strategists to help clients transform their businesses through innovative digital solutions. You will develop software products and services while mentoring client teams on engineering best practices and Agile values. You will be part of Tech & AI at McKinsey, focusing on creating industry-shaping products and tools.

• Undergraduate or master’s degree; or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience developing full-stack applications by writing code that is readable, testable, maintainable, and scalable
• Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with other developers and technical and non-technical people within software teams
• Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience across the full application stack with languages/frameworks such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, Angular.js, and Node.js
• Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience with common AI models and LLMs like GPT
• Experience with AI-assisted IDEs such as Cursor and Copilot
• Experience working in Agile teams, including active participation in sprint ceremonies
• Exceptional time management to meet responsibilities in a complex and largely autonomous work environment
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and local office language(s)

• Collaborate with clients to turn their digital ambitions into reality through hands-on technical expertise
• Develop software products and services from the ground up while coaching and mentoring client teams
• Participate in cross-functional problem-solving sessions with client leaders to shape their digital strategies
• Help clients build scalable teams and engineering cultures that enable long-term success
