Job description

The Data Analyst role at EY focuses on technology consulting within the Data & Analytics team, specifically in Data Architecture and Engineering for the Financial Services Office. The position involves addressing business challenges through innovative data solutions and transforming client data management practices. As a manager, you will lead diverse teams and engage with clients to enhance their data supply chains and processes. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and leadership skills to drive growth and implement advanced technologies.

Requirements

  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Analytics or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate related work experience.
  • Alternatively, must have a Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Analytics or a related field and 4 years of related work experience.
  • Must have 3 years of combined experience in the banking, capital markets, insurance, and/or wealth and asset management industry.
  • Must have 3 years of experience assisting clients with strategic Data Architecture and Engineering, Cloud Data Modernization, Data Products, Data Mesh, Data Fabric, Big Data initiatives and/or Event-driven Architecture.
  • Must have 3 years of experience with traditional data architecture practices including Master Data Management, Operational Data Analytics, Customer Data Hub, and/or Data Warehousing.

Responsibilities

  • Understand business challenges and address remediations through data architecture and engineering solutions.
  • Work with clients to transform the way they use and manage data by architecting modern data platforms and products.
  • Manage and coach diverse teams of professionals with different backgrounds.
  • Propose and drive new technologies to enhance or replace existing business processes.
  • Engage and influence large teams and functional leaders to ensure project task and timeline accountability.
