Job description

The Senior Customer Success Architect at IBM Confluent acts as a trusted technical advisor, focusing on ensuring customer success, retention, and expansion through technical guidance on the Confluent product suite. The architect will work closely with various teams, including Sales and Engineering, to drive technical success and enhance customer satisfaction. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Demonstrated success in a technical field role for a product or SaaS company with enterprise customers.
  • Hands-on knowledge of one or more key cloud vendors such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Solid understanding of cloud networking and security technologies.
  • Experience with operating Linux and configuring both RedHat and Debian based distributions.

Responsibilities

  • Champion and advocate for the customer within Confluent, serving as their technical voice.
  • Identify customer technical objections and develop strategies to address those blockers to adoption.
  • Proactively support customers through technical lifecycle activities such as architecture planning and security design.
  • Guide customers on advanced technical topics to enhance their data streaming maturity.
  • Document and transfer knowledge to customers and internal teams to assist in their growth.
