The Robotics Technical Services (RTS) Field Support team is seeking a Field Hardware Support Engineer to act as a crucial link between on-site technicians and engineering teams. This role focuses on ensuring the performance and reliability of advanced robotics systems within Amazon's fulfillment network. The engineer will be responsible for launching new systems, developing maintenance procedures, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The position requires independent judgment and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• 4+ years of systems engineering experience
• Experience maintaining the resilience and reliability of services by troubleshooting deployment failures
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Experience working in a 24/7 production environment
• Experience designing and implementing systems and processes for reliability and performance

• Provide on-site support for new product implementations and troubleshooting for advanced robotics systems
• Partner with site-level RME teams to maximize advanced robotics system performance
• Identify, analyze, and resolve mechanical and system issues across the RTS product suite
• Design and implement electro-mechanical tools and diagnostic solutions
• Develop and implement proactive monitoring tools for safety and performance
• Create standard operating procedures and preventative maintenance protocols
• Design and lead training sessions for on-site RME teams
• Develop spare parts management systems and processes
• Produce performance reports and provide customer feedback to development teams
