The role is for a software engineer at Amazon Devices, focusing on developing deep learning technologies for consumer products. Requirements
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems.
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 3+ years of programming experience using a modern programming language such as Java, C++, or C#.
- Experience in developing and deploying large language models in production on AI acceleration hardware.
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards and testing.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Experience in embedded development in C/C++.
- Experience building compilers for application-specific accelerators or custom instruction sets.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop the software stack for deep learning accelerators.
- Develop compiler passes for graph ingestions, optimizations, and partitioning.
- Develop backend code generation capabilities across heterogeneous platforms.
- Profile, analyze, and optimize system-level performance, developing new tooling as necessary.
- Participate in design reviews, API development, and documentation.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, applied science, and product teams to enhance user experiences.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers.
