Job description

Join the Apple Pay Security Engineering team to enhance the security of new Apple Pay products. This role focuses on breaking hardware, software, and services to identify vulnerabilities and improve user safety. You will leverage AI to enhance security testing tools and workflows. The ideal candidate is passionate about digital security and has a strong foundation in security engineering.

Requirements

  • Experience in threat modeling hardware and/or software designs.
  • Hands-on experience with security testing, including pentesting and negative testing.
  • Familiarity with various cryptographic algorithms such as RSA, AES, and SHA.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across multiple teams.
  • Experience in shipping software or integrating security into the software lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct security testing to identify vulnerabilities in Apple Pay products.
  • Utilize AI tools to enhance security testing processes and workflows.
  • Propose new designs and architectural improvements based on testing outcomes.
  • Collaborate with developers to communicate security issues and suggest fixes.
  • Continuously learn and adapt to new security challenges and technologies.
