Job description

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree is required, while a Master's degree is preferred.
- Experience in strategy consulting, corporate development, investment research, or similar roles involving market analysis or early-stage deal evaluation is required.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct market scans and evaluate companies are essential.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage workstreams and lead various assessments is necessary.
- Familiarity with M&A processes and strategic evaluation frameworks is required.
Responsibilities
- Contribute insights to strategy discussions and support efforts that drive a high-quality, strategically aligned pipeline.
- Evaluate strategic fit, capabilities, and market positioning of potential targets.
- Independently lead scans within assigned geos or segments to identify attractive companies aligned to IBM Consulting’s strategic priorities.
- Conduct preliminary assessments to determine whether opportunities should progress to execution.
- Support timely triage of inbound opportunities to ensure rapid and informed decision-making.
