Requirements
- A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or related field) is required.
- Substantial professional experience in heavy civil construction projects is necessary.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is essential.
- Experience with NYC DEP and web-based construction document management platforms is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment are required.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review payment applications and perform desk audits of contractor billings.
- Monitor contracts and prepare monthly reports and project meeting minutes.
- Assist with shop drawing tracking and distribution, and notify contractors of new change orders.
- Ensure that change order work and time and material work are accurately documented.
- Maintain documentation for contract closeout and assist with site safety verifications.
