As an EDA Tools Hardware Engineer at Intel, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining power integrity analysis flows for advanced semiconductor technologies. This role emphasizes CAD methodology, automation infrastructure, and silicon correlation for transistor-level reliability verification. You will collaborate closely with various teams, including circuit design and physical design, to ensure accurate EM/IR analysis methodologies. The position requires strong expertise in power integrity analysis and automation development using industry-standard tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, and 6+ years of experience; 4+ years of experience with a Master's degree; or 2+ years of experience with a PhD.
- Strong understanding of EM/IR reliability concepts, including Electromigration and Power Drop.
- Experience with Redhawk/Totem tools.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain transistor-level electromigration and IR drop analysis flows for custom IPs and embedded memories.
- Focus on CAD methodology and automation infrastructure for power integrity analysis.
- Collaborate with circuit design, physical design, package, reliability, and signoff teams.
- Enable scalable and accurate EM/IR analysis methodologies for advanced-node designs.
- Utilize scripting and automation skills in Linux environments.
