Job description

As a Senior Analyst within BCG's Industrial Goods Practice Area, you will provide expertise in the metals and mining sector while collaborating with case and proposal teams. This role focuses on solving complex issues and developing knowledge assets for the Mining Industry. You will work closely with clients to identify opportunities and challenges, ensuring they achieve sustainable competitive advantages. Additionally, you will mentor junior colleagues and contribute to marketing efforts and intellectual property development.

Requirements

  • 3-4+ years of consulting experience in the relevant metals and mining space is required.
  • In lieu of consulting experience, a minimum of 2 years of industry experience is required, with 3-6+ years strongly preferred.
  • High proficiency in Excel, including complex modeling and data analysis, is necessary.
  • A Bachelor's Degree is required, with an advanced degree preferred.
  • Fluency in English and outstanding interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Provide metals and mining expertise and insights to case and proposal teams.
  • Support the broader Metals and Mining sector in developing intellectual property and knowledge assets.
  • Assist with onboarding, training, and guiding junior colleagues.
  • Collaborate with global topic leads and colleagues to deliver expertise to clients.
  • Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders in a credible and confident manner.
