Job description

The role is for an analyst within the North America People Analytics team at Boston Consulting Group. The focus is on delivering transformational analytics solutions and high-quality reporting to support the People Team and senior leadership. Candidates will utilize tools like Python, SQL, and GenAI to automate reporting processes and contribute to key business initiatives. The position requires strong analytical skills and a collaborative mindset to manage various projects and priorities.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • 2 - 4 years of progressive experience in an analytical or data-focused role is necessary.
  • Fluency in core aspects of data management, including data collection, aggregation, manipulation, analysis, visualization, and documentation is expected.
  • Experience working across various systems and data sources, including Workday or SAP, is an asset.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct timely and accurate cadenced reporting and ad-hoc quantitative and qualitative analyses for People Team leaders and Senior Leadership.
  • Partner with People Team members to understand their business priorities and translate them into analytics questions and structured hypotheses.
  • Contribute to process improvement, optimization, and automation initiatives in partnership with functional leaders.
  • Build compelling data visualizations for stakeholders, including dynamic dashboards that surface actionable insights.
  • Participate in Agile analytics product development, supporting requirements gathering, sprint delivery, testing, and documentation.
