The Data Engineer ETL Developer is an intermediate-level position focused on designing, developing, and implementing data integration solutions. This role is integral to the Oracle Ledger program, which aims to transform upstream data for Oracle Financials SaaS. The successful candidate will work within the Technology team to build and maintain critical data pipelines using the Ab Initio platform. The position emphasizes high-quality data systems analysis and programming to support strategic financial data objectives.

• Hands-on experience in data systems analysis and ETL development.
• Proven expertise with the Ab Initio platform (GDE, Co>Operating System, EME).
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases such as Oracle and Teradata.
• Solid experience with Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting.
• Demonstrated experience in managing and implementing successful data-centric projects, preferably in the financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and ETL best practices.
• Experience with large-scale data transformation projects and loading data into financial systems is highly desirable.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with job scheduling tools is a plus.

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance ETL processes using the Ab Initio suite.
• Conduct detailed data analysis, profiling, and quality assessments.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications for ETL jobs.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.
• Create and manage metadata within the Ab Initio Enterprise Meta>Environment.
• Develop Unix/Linux shell scripts for job automation and scheduling.
• Monitor and control all phases of the development process.
• Provide operational support for production applications and troubleshoot issues.
• Utilize specialty knowledge of ETL and Ab Initio to analyze complex data problems.
• Collaborate with data architects and business analysts to ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
