Intel Foundry is looking for an experienced IC Packaging Design Manager to lead a team focused on delivering advanced packaging solutions. This role involves acting as a technical partner to customers and ensuring successful adoption of Intel's packaging technologies. The manager will oversee project execution, foster a collaborative team environment, and drive innovation in packaging design. The position requires strong leadership and technical expertise in advanced packaging design.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a STEM related field with 9+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 6+ years, or a PhD with 4+ years.
- Experience in IC Package, chiplet/SOC design, or heterogeneous integration, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in a leadership or management role, successfully leading engineering teams and delivering complex projects.
- Experience in performance/manufacturability/yield aware design methodologies.
- Experience with design flows and methodologies including physical design, analysis, and verification.
- Experience working with IC Packaging EDA tools from Siemens and/or Cadence.
- Experience with packaging technologies and heterogeneous integration.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a group of IC Packaging Engineers, providing guidance and mentorship.
- Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of package design projects.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
- Serve as the primary package design technical lead and guide customers through the design flow.
- Drive the development of advanced packaging designs ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement design specifications.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans including resource allocation and risk management.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality of designs.
- Stay current with industry trends and incorporate new methodologies into the design process.
