Job description
As a Senior Project Engineer at Elanco, you will lead the development and execution of major capital projects at the Clinton Manufacturing site. This hands-on engineering role requires significant field presence to ensure successful project delivery while partnering with various teams. You will focus on improving safety, reliability, compliance, capacity, and operational performance. Your leadership will guide project engineers and ensure adherence to project scopes and budgets.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 7 years of engineering and capital project experience within a regulated industrial environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and closeout of capital projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
- Develop project scopes, cost estimates, schedules, User Requirements (URs), and Design Requirements (DRs).
- Coordinate procurement activities, contractor management, and equipment installation to support successful project implementation.
- Forecast project spending, manage budgets, and provide regular project status updates to stakeholders.
- Mentor and support project engineers by providing guidance on project execution and technical design considerations.
