Citi's Equity Research team is seeking an Equity Research Senior Associate to support a senior analyst in the Upstream Energy sector. The role involves producing high-quality investment insights for institutional clients and requires collaboration with the senior analyst on research publications and financial models. • 5 to 8 years of experience in equity research or a closely related financial analysis discipline.
• Solid foundation in accounting principles and financial modeling within an equity research context.
• Established experience working alongside senior equity research analysts.
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Active FINRA licenses: SIE, Series 63, Series 86, and Series 87 or commitment to obtain upon hire.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Support a senior equity research analyst covering the Upstream Energy sector.
• Develop and maintain detailed financial models for Upstream Energy companies.
• Assist in authoring equity research products including earnings previews and recaps.
• Respond to client inquiries from both internal stakeholders and external investors.
• Coordinate investor events including management meetings and company field trips.
• Contribute to the team's ongoing Upstream Energy coverage by synthesizing complex data.
• Uphold the highest standards of compliance, ethical conduct, and regulatory adherence.
