As a Service Reliability Engineer at Apple, you will be responsible for maintaining the health, stability, and efficiency of critical production systems. You will work closely with Engineers, Data Engineers, DBAs, and network specialists to identify and resolve potential issues. Your role will focus on automating repetitive tasks and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This position is essential for ensuring the reliability and performance of Apple's services.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or related role, supporting large-scale, enterprise-level services.
- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or Go and scripting languages like Bash or PowerShell.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and cloud-native technologies like Kubernetes or Docker.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or Data dog.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related work experience.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the health, stability, and efficiency of critical production systems.
- Collaborate with Engineers, Data Engineers, DBAs, and network specialists to proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
- Automate repetitive tasks to improve processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
