The Principal Quant Developer will design and develop high-performance quantitative systems that support trading, risk management, and investment analytics. This role involves integrating complex financial data and developing scalable ETL pipelines for real-time and batch processing. The developer will collaborate with research, trading, and technology teams to translate investment strategies into robust systems. The position requires expertise in database architecture and a strong focus on enhancing investment decision-making through advanced statistical techniques.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field and five years of experience as a Principal Quant Developer, or a Master’s degree and three years of experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing quantitative research software using Python, Pandas, and NumPy.
- Experience in building modular index construction frameworks and implementing rebalancing engines.
- Proficiency in analyzing and developing Oracle and DB2 database applications within a UNIX environment.
- Knowledge of creating batch jobs for processing high-frequency, low-latency data pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Architect the development of quantitative platforms that support multi-asset trading and portfolio analytics.
- Design and optimize data pipelines and storage solutions for large-scale financial datasets.
- Collaborate with quantitative researchers to implement and validate models.
- Apply advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to enhance investment decision-making.

- Mentor and guide junior developers and quants.
