Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in analytics or data engineering, ideally in high-stakes, business-critical data environments
- Expert in SQL and proficient in Python for data wrangling, scripting, and pipeline work
- Strong data modeler with experience designing scalable, future-proof models that serve multiple stakeholders and use cases
- Familiarity with DBT or other semantic modeling tools and experience with workflow orchestration
- Exceptional communication skills, comfortable presenting methodology and findings to both technical and non-technical partners
Responsibilities
- Be a strategic partner to Content Finance stakeholders, identifying impactful analytical problems and delivering data solutions
- Own business-critical data products end-to-end, from metric definition and data modeling to documentation and testing
- Champion a 'data as a product' mindset, setting standards for robust documentation and model design
- Design and maintain core metrics and semantic models that power planning cycles and executive reporting
- Drive root-cause analysis on data issues and workflow gaps to proactively improve pipelines and definitions
- Partner cross-functionally with Data Engineering, Finance, Data Science, and downstream consumers to define the future vision for key finance data products
- Mentor and uplevel teammates, sharing best practices in analytics engineering and product-minded data development
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate development and share learnings with the team
