Job description

This position involves managing the execution of sprint goals and product strategy in a matrixed environment. The role requires collaboration with architecture, operations, and engineering teams to design and develop software products. The candidate will lead product planning processes and engage with stakeholders to enhance technology and business performance. A focus on mentoring junior team members and driving quality through system validation testing is also essential.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field and six years of experience in IT Product Management.
  • Alternatively, a Master’s degree in a related field and four years of experience in IT Product Management.
  • Experience designing, developing, and deploying data-centric client-facing web applications using Informatica, Autosys, Swagger, Java, and Oracle.
  • Experience in a financial investments or insurance services environment using Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with engineering teams on system design reviews to capture technical design and requirement documentation.
  • Collaborate with users and stakeholders to provide efficient technology and cost reduction solutions.
  • Participate in all phases of the product development lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Establish processes for system validation testing to ensure quality.
  • Suggest improvements for product design and development.
  • Mentor junior team members in software development practices.
  • Design, develop, and modify complex software systems using scientific analysis.
  • Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures.
