Job description

The System Experience Calendar team at Apple is seeking a senior engineer to help redefine modern calendaring across Apple's platforms. This role involves collaborating with various teams to drive new initiatives and create seamless user experiences for billions of customers. The ideal candidate will have extensive app development experience and a strong track record in architecting high-performance applications. Requirements

  • Proficient in Objective C and Swift.
  • Strong command of mixed-language codebases.
  • 5 years of interoperability between Objective-C and Swift in large, long-lived applications.
  • 2 years of Swift UI experience in a production environment.
  • Proficiency with concurrency and state management on Apple platforms.
  • Proven ability to design scalable, testable, well-structured modules for complex applications.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • 7+ years of engineering experience building mobile and desktop projects.
  • Background in designing platform or system-level components or APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with time-based data models, iCalendar, and CalDAV standards.
  • Proficiency using Instruments and advanced debugging tools for performance analysis.
