NVIDIA is seeking a Senior System Engineer to work on the integration, validation, and troubleshooting of GPU rack compute tray platforms. This role involves collaborating with a global team to influence hardware design and ensure servers are fully functional before deployment in data centers. The engineer will also support manufacturing processes and drive root cause analysis for any issues that arise. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about advancing technology and enjoys solving complex problems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience with strong individual contributor skills.
- Strong experience in computer system and firmware architecture for server products.
- Solid understanding of low-level interfaces such as I2C, SPI, PCIe, and JTAG.
- Experience with C/C++ development and scripting in bash or Python.
Responsibilities
- Work with a global team on NVIDIA AI server system designs.
- Collaborate closely with hardware teams to influence system design.
- Use simulation and emulation to initiate new concepts and innovations.
- Provide hands-on debug and support for early server prototypes.
- Drive root cause analysis and resolution of bring-up failures.
