Job description
NVIDIA is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Development Engineer to lead the bring-up of state-of-the-art System on Chips (SOCs). This role involves collaboration with external vendors and internal design and production teams to ensure successful silicon programs. The engineer will focus on wafer-level and package-level new product introduction (NPI) and will be the primary technical interface for test strategy and silicon qualification. The position emphasizes innovation and quality in the semiconductor industry.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in troubleshooting test failures
- Experience with porting functional workloads to an automated test environment
- Understanding of software-hardware dependencies
- Exposure to both Teradyne and Advantest platforms is a plus
Responsibilities
- Lead wafer-level and package-level NPI bring-up for silicon programs, including first silicon debug and characterization.
- Serve as the primary technical interface between ATE and internal partners for test strategy and silicon qualification.
- Define and drive PDE Silicon characterization plans covering key tests and features.
- Analyze product yield limiters and drive failures on Automatic Test Equipment at wafer and package level.
- Characterize different aspects of performance and power to take competitive products to market.
- Lead multi-functional efforts with design, foundry, quality, test, customers, and suppliers to root-cause problems and implement improvements.
- Influence next-gen products by collaborating with architecture, software, and test teams.
