Job description
As a Software Development Engineer II at Amazon, you will be at the forefront of generative AI technology, developing innovative tools for content creation that enhance the learning experience for employees. You will work within a team dedicated to building AI-powered learning solutions that transform professional development. This role involves collaboration with education scientists, data engineers, and learning experts to solve complex problems in the AI learning space. You will also be responsible for ensuring high-quality code throughout the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
- 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
- 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications
- 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable software components for the talent development ecosystem platform.
- Build and optimize AI-based learning content creation tools using generative AI technologies.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Lead technical problem-solving initiatives by designing simple, elegant solutions for distributed systems.
- Drive operational excellence by participating in code reviews and ensuring root cause analysis for system issues.
